Who am I, and what does someone like me do with their time?

I think people underestimate how much of career confusion is actually identity confusion. They're not asking 'what job should I do.' They're asking 'who am I, and what does someone like me do with their time.' Most career advice skips straight past that question, which is part of why it doesn't land.
